I have a 1958 Super Meteor and I am having a hard time find a drive side cylinder . Threw a rod last summer .
I was wondering if a Trailblazer cylinder would fit ?
Does anyone out there have a cylinder? Constellation would do ....or maybe a chief
I have tried Hitchcock's their price would leave me crippled  ,-)    cost an arm and a leg
I would appreciate any info

All the 700s should do, including Apache, Trailblazer and Chief. The only difference I know, is in the little holes drilled or not in the front and/or in the back of the cylinder sleeve where it meets the cam shaft tunnels.

I blew a connecting rod last summer . I had the case welded but the rod and the cylinder were damaged

Could the damaged cylinder be bored out an re-linered?

I reckon the other connecting rod will be blowing soon as well.

Might want to investigate steel con rods before you have do do it all again.

Sounds to me if you should strip everything and do rebuild from ground up.
