I decided to go all LED. I didn't use their headlight brackets because I wanted to keep the Givi windscreen that had mounting brackets designed for the stock headlight mounts. I only had to drill two holes in the stock taillight mount and did not need resistors to keep the stock blinking rate. I highly recommend this kit.

I agree with Jack Straw. That windscreen looks perfect with the bike. Does it dump all of the air onto your helmet or does it hit more in the chest? Any buffeting issues?

The Givi windscreen works about the same as the tall flyscreen but adds about 10mph more protection.

I was thinking about doing the same on my bike. I’m also not interested in using their headlight bracket so that I can keep my tall flyscreen installed. The TEC kit doesn’t include any upgrade to the headlight though, correct? It’s just blinkers and tail light?

The Gunfighter improves the looks of these bikes. Plus they're really great saddles!

I like the look of the Corbin seat.  Do you feel it's worth the price?.  Last I checked they cost about $570 USD.

Headlight brackets are included in the kit but I didn't use them because of my windscreen fitment.

I don't even think about my backside after installing the Gunfighter. It was worth every penny.

Yes, bracket only correct? No actual upgrade to the headlight itself though. I find it funny that TEC calls it a full led upgrade without including anything for the most important piece of lighting on the bike. I understand that would jack up the price considerably, but let’s call it what it is.

By the way, I do think it looks like a nice kit at a great price, and it’s good to see you’re happy with it. I’m planning on picking one up at some point. The way they’re marketing it just rubs me the wrong way.

I did my own "kit" to suit my tastes using similar but different Chinese parts that TEC uses.

Got my TEC kit yesterday.  Wow, what a pain in the ass to install the rear lighting.  Looks pretty good when it was all done though.  Hands got cold so I figured I'd tackle the front blinkers another day.

Looks sharp!
I've heard that installation could be a bitch.

How did you get the side of the engine to shine like that? Nice.

Best little trick I came up with was routing the wiring harness through the hole in the mudguard by taping all the wires together tightly instead of trying to jam them all through individually. All in all it really wasn’t too bad. Oh, make a mental note, or take a picture of which connector is which before you take it apart. The harness TEC supplies has corresponding colors to the original.
