I always felt like the starter motor looked a bit strange and a bit unfinished. Hitchcocks supply a plastic cover but I wasn’t so keen on the look of it. So I made one myself and stuck a Lucas competition magneto label on there to fool the casual observer!

Not entirely sold on the brass so I’ve order a sheet of stainless to see which I prefer. About £13 + 1hrs work.

Ooh I'd buy the brass one if you like the stainless one better!  :D
