Indeed. That's why I'm a big fan of PrintKey 2000. Before I retired, I used it A LOT. Made me look like a damned wizard.
So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.

Thanks for the tip! I might check it out. PrintKey 2000 is an old friend, but I'm not entirely sure it'll play well with the newest flavors of Windows. I mean, consider its name. It got that handle back when tacking "2000" onto anything harkened images of sleek futurity in folks' minds, not pagers or maybe clamshell phones for the fancy people.

I have had reasonable success in Win10 with a product called "snagit" for screen capture.

I use 'Shutter' in Linux, don't know if there are versions for other systems but like most Linux progs, it's free.

Going back to the original subject, I read this yesterday, it doesn't show Stuart Garner in a good light.

BTW, did you notice the picture of the little ranch house that he bought for himself with the Norton investors' money in the original article?  What a crook.  >:(

For those interested in seeing some real statistical figures on "Brand awareness of motorcycle brands among motorcycle owners in the U.S. 2018", see https://www.statista.com/forecasts/1030880/brand-awareness-of-motorcycle-brands-among-motorcycle-owners-in-the-us .

Surprisingly to me, Royal Enfield pans out at 11%, far higher than I'd have guessed, and only just edging out Piaggio at 10%...though I'd wager their model name "Vespa" might have had a higher degree of recognition. Rather curiously, in a survey of American  motorcycle riders, "Harley", in first place, was only recognized by 74% of the 707 survey respondents. So be careful out there guys, 'cause there's clearly at least 183 drooling sleepwalkers or head trauma sufferers zipping around out there on our public roads as I write this. I'm pretty sure one of them passed me fully wound out at well over 80...maybe faster...as I picked my way homeward along that twisty critter-infested Avon Road in the pitch black on the very last leg home from Brad the Madmann's gathering in Galax back in August. I honestly expected to soon be passing a smoldering heap in the hedgerows. By way of extrapolation, that survey might indicate that well over a quarter of all motorcycle riders out there have never heard of Harley, with only a handful fewer having any recognition whatsoever of the runner up Honda. But one man, one vote, right? Herp! Derp!

Since that subscription-based statista.com website seems to allow only a single preview before those access-blocking cookies kick in, after which they'll wanna hit you up for 700 semolians, I've taken the liberty of pilfering a screen shot of the table by way of a fair use abstract for research ready reference, as attached below. You can decide if you want to poney up the equivalent of 10 or so Dunlop K70s to really get to the bottom of it all.

I'm not surprised. It seems like average Americans (and I don't mean you guys) are incredibly ignorant about what happens outside their own monkeysphere ( a guy at work not American asked me today what my bike was tho, obviously some aussies can't be bothered to read either).

BTW I'm super lazy and just use the snipping tool.

It looks like the Indians have picked up another famous British motorcycle brand.   :(

Will be interesting to see if TVS tries to play the home market, the export market, or both at the same time.

Didn't you give them the "They were made by mountain-dwelling inbred elves for the Serbian military during the War of the Cream-Filled Blini, so it's the only motor vehicle in the world lubricated solely by drool, and while I cannot pronounce its vowelless name properly, it kinda sounds like a fat guy who just won a hot dog eating contest farting into a conch shell"  gambit? Hell, mine has "Royal Enfield" clearly spelled out right on the tank (AND the rear fender AND the headlamp peak AND the primary drive cover), yet inquiring minds still ask...

TVS sure make some interesting products, 3 wheelers, mopeds, electric scooters and 160cc intimation race bikes:

That little sport bike in the bottom picture uses the BMW G310 engine. Both motorcycles are built in the TVS factory, although the BMW G manufacturing section is walled off from the rest of the TVS factory, including double airlocks and environmental filters, from what I heard when the BMW first announced their G model was to be manufactured in India.

What I want to see is a tuk, tuk, with a Norton Atlas engine.  Should be fun for the female riders.   ;)
