I enjoyed the meet-up today at The Nick. You all make me proud to be a Royal Enfield owner. Let's do it again this fall.

Keep the rubber side down.

No fights or damage to the premises this time. Everybody was on their best behavior, well except for KS Gerry. My neighbor Capt' Phil swung by with his Seattle Duck tour (WWII amphibious vehicle)  and got his rowdy tour crew to wave and get excited about our row of Enfield's. Good showing today. Looks like will have an end of the summer meet also. So all that couldn't make this one there is something in the works. Great to see everyone again. Will see some of the group at the next Backfire Moto in Ballard next month.

As always,

What a nice group of people! I had a great time. It is so good to see all of you and gab. What is it with this group? How'd we all become such good friends? Is it because of the forum or because of the mystique of the Enfield?

All I really care about is that it works.

Hey, I met Mike (and then his wife, Shannon) for the first time today. What a kick they are! They were running late for a ROLLER DERBY event. Roller Derby? I haven't seen/heard of roller derby since.... well, I can't remember when. Her track name is "Bonnie Vile". Many of you probably knew this already as she was wearing her RD T-shirt at the RE event. (The nerve!)

They also do a bit of traveling and have a website detailing their motorcycling adventure's. (They put my Winthrop trip in the backseat :'()

Here's the link
http://www.smboilerworks.com/

I don't think Ennie likes leaving the get togethers. She ran like a top on the way over today, but on the way home she acted like she was starving for fuel on the hills. I'm too tired to check it out tonight. I'm guessing old gas, condensation and, maybe, some debris (rust?). I 'll check her out in the morning and let y'all know. Despite the funky performance, the motor sounded fine and we made nice time (even tho' I was thinking I might have to bail at any moment.)

Summer get together? I'm in! (provided my employer agrees to the timing...)

-Jesse (I'll post my pics as soon as I figure out my new photo program)

Yes, it was great getting to meet many new people today.  The ambience of the Nick was nice.  The Fremont bridge went up and down all day while the sun stayed out all day.

The waitress didn't charge me for my club soda, but she got a tip anyway.  I'll bring the mrs there for a dinner sometime soon.  Nice beer selection.

The bikes lined up were cool.  Lots of custom items on them.

I beeped at ya all as I went over the Aurora Bridge and I had to laugh, as my pipe was probably a lot louder than the beep. I need a MANLY horn!
