That Pulsar would be a cheap entry level "badge-engineering" machine and looks fairly "New Triumph" already. They mention new engine outer cases in the lower article.

Bajaj-Triumph Motorcycle Prototypes Readied, Launch In FY23 : by Praveen Kumar, 3 November, 2021
https://www.motorbeam.com/bajaj-triumph-motorcycle-prototypes-readied-launch-in-fy23/
But, thanks to the comments Executive Director, Bajaj Auto, Rakesh Sharma, made on the matter in July this year, it is clear that the first Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle will be introduced toward the end of fiscal year 2023.
The bikes, which will have engines between 250 and 700cc in capacity, will be manufactured by Bajaj at a new factory in Chakan with up to 99 percent localisation.
However, the design development is completely done by Triumph. The entry-level model of the range is likely to cost below Rs. 2 lakhs.
According to Perkins, the Bajaj-Triumph Motorcycle deal went through because of the Indian firm’s large market share and experience working with KTM and Kawasaki.
Triumph bikes created through the partnership with Bajaj will be sold globally and the Indian firm will also be responsible for marketing and retailing the resulting motorcycles in Asia (including the Indian subcontinent) and Africa.

Could Future Small-Displacement Triumph Use A Bajaj 250cc Engine? : Mar 01, 2021 By: Enrico Punsalang
How would you like to see a Triumph Bonneville 250 soon? Or what about something like a Triumph Street Single? Well, it would appear that a bike of this nature could very well be in the works. As you're probably aware, Triumph and Bajaj struck a partnership a little over a year ago for the latter to produce small-displacement motorcycles for Triumph in the Asian market.
The two companies had been testing the waters for two years prior to officially announcing their partnership. Fast forward to today, and rumors of the newest small-displacement Triumph abound. Last week, it was reported that Bajaj was developing a 250cc engine for the upcoming Pulsar. Recent developments suggest that this new air-cooled, 250cc single-cylinder engine could likely be the same engine to be used in the bikes to roll out as a result of the Triumph-Bajaj partnership. Perhaps another interesting thing to note is the fact that this new engine is air-cooled, as opposed to liquid-cooled just like Bajaj's other new engines. This could hint at the price bracket that Triumph and Bajaj are eyeing for their new bike. Perhaps, the upcoming 250cc Triumph could be a worthy opponent to the likes of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, or maybe even the Honda H'Ness CB350 and CB350 RS. Although down by around 100cc, it can't be denied that rolling around on a Triumph has a different level of allure, thanks to the company's rich heritage.
To set itself apart, the new engine to be used on the small-displacement Triumph is expected to feature redesigned engine cases as opposed to that of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 250. As has always been the case with Triumphs both big and small, a great amount of attention to detail has always been put into the bikes, making sure they retain that iconic retro-modern styling for which Triumph is known and loved.

Maybe these were identified as the "New 450 Himalayan"? Bajaj is an Indian company after all...?

Duo of new 500cc single models spotted undercover in Spain. By Ben Purvis, February 3, 2022

Shortly before the coronavirus pandemic threw the world into disarray, Triumph had announced a tie-in with Indian firm Bajaj to create new engines and bikes in the 200cc–750cc class. The first fruit of the partnership has long been expected to emerge in 2022, and right on schedule, Triumph has been spied testing two new single-cylinder machines at the firm’s test facility in Spain.
With an estimated capacity of around 500cc, the bikes are expected to be manufactured by Bajaj in India to directly compete with the likes of Royal Enfield and the newly reborn BSA brand, owned by Mahindra. Meanwhile, the bikes will form a new entry-level step in the Triumph range worldwide, slotting in below the current cheapest models—the 900cc Street Twin and the 660cc Trident triple—to give younger, less experienced riders the option to get on a Triumph earlier in their motorcycling lives.
The two machines spotted in Spain are very clearly based on the same set of components. The engine is a single that appears to be directly related to the existing 900cc and 1,200cc parallel twin used in the Bonneville and related models. The engine’s side covers and even the bolt patterns around them closely match the Bonneville twin, but there’s clearly just one cylinder here.
It’s a sensible shortcut to a smaller-capacity engine. Using the Bonnie engine as a template means things like the combustion chamber shape, intake and exhaust porting, valve sizes, cam profiles, and piston design can be informed by the existing design, potentially even carrying over some common components. For instance, it’s quite possible that the valves and piston in the new single are shared with one of the iterations of the Bonneville twin. Ancillary parts like the water and oil pumps might also be able to be shared, and perhaps even some transmission components.
Rumors have long suggested the first new Bajaj-Triumph machine would be a 500cc single, and this certainly appears to be that size. With one cylinder of the Bonneville engine in either 900cc or 1,200cc, 450cc and 600cc capacities would be easy to achieve, while adding slightly longer-stroke cranks could turn those into more category-conforming 500cc and 650cc machines.

By all accounts the 350 Meteors and Classics are getting a bit of a name in the British market.  Triumph may be worried new riders will acquire RE brand loyalty.

Triumph are past masters at manipulating the motorcycle press when it comes to new bike models. Good to see nothing much has changed.

I have a mate who ued to work for them and when they were coming out with a new model, they'd prep a mock-up, suitably "disguided" then arrange for it to be seen somewhere. I recall him telling me of one occasion where the apprentice was given the job of snipping all the nibs of the tyres of one so it looked like it had been ridden. They then sneaked it out in a van in the middle of the night and parked it up somewhere out of the way at a motorway services before "tipping off" the press that they'd seen a strange looking triumph parked up there.

They get loads of publicity and a lot of comment and discussion on styling and design points from the motorcycling public without having to spend a penny on advertising. It's how they manage to get so many new models that hit the nail on the head.

Unless they price it way below what Triumph normally charge, the new 350 Hunter is going to give it some serious competition.

Gee-whiz  ::)

Another blacked-out, water cooled bike designed by a committee to look retro.

I'm so glad RE ended any desire I might ever have for another bike.  ;D

Where can I buy stocks/shares in suppliers of black powder-coating material? The market must be worth a fortune by now.

That's a logical assumption, however I would not to want to figure if the shares correlate anyhow to the amount of coating powered being sold. That's like trying to figure what exactly is causing inflation, it certainly doesn't seem to be the exorbitant salaries that would drive prices up for everything. Probably we would need to ask Einstein to figure that for us.  :o ::)

( EICMA 2022 will begin on Tuesday, November 8 and ends on Sunday, November 13, 2022 )

The Bajaj-Triumph portfolio is likely to have engine sizes ranging from 200cc to 250cc, with a focus on large volume sales. The first motorbike, which might be a roadster or a scrambler, could debut at the EICMA exhibition in Milan, Italy, in 2022. The roadster and scrambler test prototypes shared design cues with Triumph's Bonneville and Scrambler premium offerings, but in smaller proportions and with a single engine rather than a twin. The bikes produced by this collaboration will be rolled out of a new manufacturing factory in Chakan, near Pune, utilizing Bajaj's local production expertise.

This would aid in aggressively positioning the motorcycles and achieving economies of scale—meaning lower prices, translating to higher sales volumes right off the bat. At present, however, i t's unclear what the intentions are for the pair of bikes and their engine capabilities, but both might target the Indian market as well as the rest of the Southeast Asian market, given consumers' predilection for purchasing more luxury items in recent years.
