{silence except for crickets chirping...}
Wow, you guys are a tough crowd!
I originally started this thread with a ride report parody using what I thought was funny, "reality-tv" style, over-the-top narration, and what I thought were obviously and badly photo-shopped images I took on a ride up the Mt. Washington (New Hampshire, USA) road.
Believe it or not, I meant it to be funny. Based on the replies below, I clearly don't know my audience! I apologize if I wasted everyone's time, at best, or if I offended anybody, at worst. You never know, I guess!
I'll post a proper report...

Nice! You pics had some weird graphics on them.
-
Nice! You had me all the way up until I saw the summit house. I hiked up there many years ago. . .
Cheers,
Dan K.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about...
-
I bet you caught the world's biggest trout up there too! ;D
-
You sound bored yesterday..The pics were great but really ..............
-
Hey,
Did you ever post what saddle bags those are on your bike? Look like something I might want. :)
-
I actually enjoyed the parody. Sorry to see it get panned.
-
Hey, I liked it!
I think most of us played along or just ribbed you back in jest.
-
I know - my reply to the Dans' posts was tongue-in-cheek, too. Too subtle? Who knows? Who cares?
I wouldn't say it got panned, though; that would have been too much for my fragile self-esteem to handle... ;)
-
I'm sorry I missed it!
-
Dab nab it fellers.
I missed some sarcastic parody. And someone got all pissy,..uhh?
How bout a redo?
-
REpozer - pissy? Which thread were you reading?
-
Nobody got mad and pissy? :o
Alright,.. I will go back into hibernation.
-
Naw - if I were mad, I would have included a >:( , of course!
Don't be vexed, REpozer - the whole thing was just a failed attempt at a lame joke, that's all. Anyway, it's well-known that comedy should be left to the professionals!

mattsz,
I loved it. I had a hint, knowing where you live, but I went for the ride. Some folk scoff at magic, some people just want to know how the trick is done. Others like to be amazed and enjoy the show. Thanks for a moment of wonder. (Now, I'm looking to make that ride next time I'm in your neck of the woods.
