I'm sorry, did the taxi driver just say something?
We'll need to roll down the glass and ask him again. Wish him a happy vet's day while we're stuck talking to him.

Bet our taxis beat the hell out of swimming where you need to go! ;)

I always worried about guys who wore dixie cups on their heads.

Happy Veteran day to all my brothers..Served in the airforce but never felt like it was the real military, more like a business or a spin off of the scouts. I did have a good time during my 4 year enlistment which made all the difference in the world....Of course I'm reminiscing and probably forget about some of the rules n regulations that I didn't like....I always heard from our brother in other services that our chow hall food was great and that our living arrangements were top notch. I still think about it and smile..GM

Good old inter-service rivalry.
Can't beat it. ;D

cheesey: I think they promote that for a reason..The services are so different in mission but share a common denominator. All vital for the security of the country...GM

Well, that plus it's fun...at least for the first few years, then again after you're out for a few years more.

Happy belated Veterans Day! I can't join in the rivalry.. I was Subs, Dad was Army Infantry, and my boy is a Marine getting ready for his 3rd deployment.
