Classics, AVL, tech tips ,---all the same its a Bullet.
I don't care what it is I want to read about it without clicking from one page to another. I cant tell if i've subscribed to that thread without remembering.
Its too messy its all over the place, less catagories please

I agree that there are probably too many categories. I just counted 20. The store/catalog group could be condensed into 1 or 2 categories. I have a iron barrel 4 gear kick only Bullet so I just look at the 'Classic" group, maybe I'm missing something in the AVL or UCE groups? If I had a AVL I suppose I would have to read both AVL and Classic categories so I wouldn't miss out? Yep, too many categories. Easy to get lost, but if I'm getting lost somewhere, where better than here?

I agree, too many.

I think it's set up pretty well the way it is. Don't change it. ERC

Half the fun is cruising through all the categories. Picked up some valuable ideas/cures/fixes this way. Just my 2 pence. Will.

i also belong to the a suzuki gs forum: www.thegsresources.com. it can be a little chaotic also, but it does something cool. the most common issues are given a title and are in a prominent place. links to the 'stator papers', 'carb basics' and there is a checklist of basics listed that has to be done for routine maintenance. of course there are plenty of other issues around-too many to categorize like RE.

I can see clamp's point, but collapsing the various Bullet model categories would mean a lot more noise in a single channel, and a lot more stuff to wade through that might be irrelevant to your particular bike.
I'm with ERC about keeping the Bullet models area the way it is. Though Matthew Harris' suggestion to collapse the threads in the Store & Catalog area makes sense.
Also, since there are several areas for FAQs or Installation tips, maybe the serial/timestamp format is not great for that. Perhaps a wiki would be better for static documentation of that sort.

Wheres that then? I don't have that?

We cant make any one not click. That is up to the individual.

In revisiting clamps original post in this thread I think a few changes might be a good idea.
Take for example " Bullet Classic Models ", visitors curious about the U.C.E. bikes my confuse our use of the term classic .
