Any inside knowledge or good guesses of what RE is launching next week? Darcy and the old Man will be attending some launch next week but they’re keeping it hush hush.

I’m guessing is something like a scram 450 or 650 scrambler.

Bikewale shows the 350 Bobber in April in India. RE USA doesn't even have the 450 Himi yet.

He said in a video that it’ll be a brand new bike with a new engine that he hopes RE will put it in the hunter and other models. Hopefully it’s not that electric crap.

The 452 is the "new" motor, these are the references I found. Maybe these are the new reveal. No mention of a 452 Bullet, but there was a 450 Continental link - but no picture. There's also the perennial 250cc rumors, but no hardware. RE seems bent on mid-range hardware, many many other India companies already make 250s. I can't see them spending real money on a new engine right after the 452 effort.

I'll bet there are license restrictions or tax advantages to staying under 500cc in India. Lots of 400 - 450cc machines built there though.

The counterbalanced 390 KTM and 452 RE motors both make around 40-45 HP and have 6 speeds. They are 50 - 150 pounds lighter than the RE 650s. The old RE 500s were 22 - 28 HP machines with 4 or 5 speed gearboxes. The new LC452 in any of its upcoming guises could run off and leave one for dead. The Scram 452 will likely be a hoot. The trad-looking OHC Chinese Benelli Imperiale 400 single also comes in a 460cc (AKA "500") version, and that depends on where you live. With modern engine tech, a 450 thumper is plenty fast. Add a "500" decal and nobody would be the wiser.

I've seen somewhere that RE was testing 650 scrambler which would suggest that they may want to also add 650 classic somewhere down the line. This would make sense for North America and Europe.
