Are PM replies actually being sent?

I've received a few personal messages over the past months, and replied to them all. However, when I click on "Messages" / "Sent Items" they don't appear. In fact the last one to show in the Sent Items list is from August 2022.

Are these replies actually being sent, or are they disappearing into a digital black hole?

'02 500ES (Fully "Hitchcocked" - 535, cams, piston, etc - and still a piece of junk)

...plus loads of other bikes: German, British, Japanese, Italian, East European.

ISTRC that SENT messages aren't saved by default, I think there's a box you have to tick somewhere for that.to happen.
