Yeah. That is Nigeria for you.

The interesting thing is Noraly herself did not report them.

Someone else watching her video decided to forward the incident to the Nigerian authorities.

Here is the itchy Boots video in question (S7-E62):

This would work for a scooter, motorcycle or automobile. Modern control and power electronics could use the gyroscopes as energy storage as well as a balance mechanism.

The Self Balancing Monorail

In this video, we explore the fascinating story of the Brennan Monorail, an innovative train from the early 1900s designed by Louis Brennan. This monorail defied conventional physics by balancing on a single rail, leaning into corners without external input, and remaining stable even when stationary

Thorium! Fissions forgotten stepchild. Not enough Plutonium production to have been interesting to the Cold Warriors. I like how it makes Tritium fuel for the upcoming Fusion reactors. "Fusion, still only 20 years away since 1960..." ::)

Each car would have required gyros, and power, and an operator...$$$$$. An idea ahead of his time.

HOWEVER - Beacon Energy makes commercial flywheel energy storage units. Using modern digital controls and paired contra-rotating carbon-fiber spinning-in-vacuum on maglev bearing Beacon off-the-shelf flywheel units, it would be relatively easy to make these trains happen. The flywheels can supply energy to operate the train when between external electrical sources and store braking energy as well. These units are self contained and about the size of a 55 gallon drum.

You live in the future. The hard part is prying off the cold dead fingers of special interests off of the throttle...

What happened to tilting trains ?

Queensland has two high speed tilt trains, one diesel and the other electric ,that run from Brisbane to Rockhampton.

Now thy are in regular service no one seems to really take much notice of the tilting.

The USA is notable in its absence from tilt trains and passenger train service in general. Hey - if you need to go somewhere, just buy your own damn car. Chevron, Texaco, Ford & GM appreciate your business - all the way to the bank.

The QLD tilt trains have been around since the nineties. Regular service is coming up to the 25 year anniversary. The are pretty much mundane tech these days, no one make a fuss anymore.

Impressively, they run a narrow 3' 6"gauge track but in service run at 100 mph and have been tested at 130 mph.
