Does anyone know of a good place to buy a saree for a 2014 500 C5 Classic?

None on ebay and the Indian sites I have looked at don't appear to ship to the United States.

Hitchcock's doesn't appear to carry them either.

Any source to purchase one would be appreciated.

I found a guy from Delhi on ebay named Vineet, who said he could get any RE part, and I told him to get me a Saree guard! 

It took him a little while, but he came through with a genuine RE part still in the package! 

I just remember it was a note at the bottom of his page saying he could get anything and to contact him directly. I don't recall the exact price, but it was really cheap!

I don't recall what ebay store he was with. I would try to contact the main ones and see if any of them can get you one.

My Saree guard is black, same as the bike frame, which looks really nice. At the time I was curious if they came in colors or chrome, but I don't think they do.

A saree or sari is an Indian dress. The saree guard is the metal thing that stops the dress getting caught up in the rear wheel. If you type "enfield saree guard" into ebay then you should get a load of options.

I tried that but I don't see any for the C5, mostly for the Himalayan, GT and Continental.

Looking for one in black for my 2013 C5.

check on ebay.find an indian aftermarket seller. in the question section send him a message you want a guard for a c5-ive done it before and they will chase one down for you. plus tell them list the item and you will pay up front

I believe India domestic market has right-shift, right side chain drive RE models.
The saree guard will for a left side drive chain will probably be different than right side chain model.

I never could find a black, left-side saree guard for my 2013 C5.

A lot of the Indian web-stores won't ship to the United States.

I'm sure I will eventually come across one that will work.

Yes I tried there but they appear to only offer them in chrome and for non-C5 bikes.

I had sent them several emails but they never responded so I could only go by what was shown on their site.

What I wanted was the stock one which I thought would be better quality, fit, and look better. 

It just occurred to me to search my email history and guess what I found...

Total cost with shipping almost exactly 4 years ago today was... 3,200 Rupees! 

I had Western Union transfer the money directly to his bank.

I have just sent him an email reminder so he can reference it to be sure of details.
