Title: Rig width
Post by: RagMan on September 15, 2007, 04:19:29 am
What is the width at axle height, of the Military Sidecar rig?  I am trying to see what sized trailer I would need to haul such a machine around.

It is my intention to purchase a Royal Enfield Army (I know, it is called a Military here in the States) complete with Rocket sidecar. As I will be hauling it around from time to time, I want to know how much space it is going to need.

Hi, If its any help the with of my '02 Clasic with the Rocket is 66 inches from the chrome wheel guard to the  end of the left foot peg. Don't know the additional with the boxes and butterfly crashbars add. Mabe the folks at Classic Motorworks can measure the distance from peg end to crashbar + boxes.
 Good Luck,  Don
