I put in new tiger eyes from Super bright LED and now my windshield glows in the dark!  :P

Kinda cool, huh?  ;D

I replaced my tiger bulbs with LED and felt the same. I wondered about getting softer glow LEDs and trying these but haven't done it yet. If I ever feel brave enough then I'll replace the indicator warning light (and probably the neutral light) in my dash with LEDs also.

Bravery not required!  It's not difficult, just keep your wits about you so you don't go breaking stuff ( :-[ ).

Here's an old thread - I'm guessing that at least some of the bulb styles have changed, but the basics are there.

I was pretty pleased with my new speedo backlight bulb (next post in that thread...)

Are the tiger eye bulbs 2 W or 7W? The printing is smudged on mine. Thanks

I'm using a EIKO # 53 bulb.  It is a 1.73 watt bulb but is rated as a 2 watt, 14 volt bulb.
My owners manual for my bullet says it should be a 2 watt bulb.

Thanks Arizoni, I found some 2.4 watt bulbs for $3.15 each w free shipping. Also found out, when I removed my Sylvania sealed beam headlight, that the bulb was rolling around inside the headlamp. I lost both headlight screws on my ride and the extra vibration must have lead to an early demise. Will use some locktite this time.

So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.

The reflection of the LEDs seems rather bright. Is it distracting?

The glare is not as bad as the picture makes it look. Ideally, there would be none, but it's not too bad. You get used to it pretty quick when riding, because youre field of vision is above them.  ::)

I will live with it for now, maybe get some less-super, not-so-bright ones next time!  :P
