Well I went and did it, My wife and I have moved to the Philippines.  We sold or gave away everything we owned and are starting life all over here in the islands.  I gave my good friend, Ice my 2006 Royal Enfield Electra (Harris Scrambler) and my 1974 Suzuki RL-250 to my son.  At this time we’re concentrating on getting settled here.  We’re in the process of having a house built and waiting out this dog gone pandemic.  Once the pandemic is over I would like to get a new motorcycle and start exploring my new environment.  I’m thing of getting a Royal Enfield 650 Interseptor.  So this is what I’ve been up to lately, just thought I’d let my Friends here on the forum know, I’m alive and well here in paradise.

Enjoy you new digs! I understand they'd started getting together yonder for those "Bikes & Breakfast" shindigs in Manila and elsewhere in the Philippines similar to the ones I never miss here in Clifton, Virginia. Once this whole Kung Flu thing blows over, I'm sure they'll be resuming. In the meantime, check it out here: www.bikesandbreakfast.com/philippines

So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.

Good luck to you and your lady, Bill. I am green with envy. My plans in the '80s to move to the end of 30 miles of bad road in an old Airstream with a good wood stove, a good pickup and a good dog just didn't work out. All the best to you.

I'm stuck here now in an almost half a million dollar box to keep my stuff in.

Good luck Bill. I worked with some filipinos on the tugs some years ago, very nice people.

Good luck in your new land.  I have a good friend that moved there 12 years ago and married a local gal.  He loves it.  With all the crazy things happening here in WA state and in our country I would like to join you guys only if I could convince my wife of 43 years to take the move.
