You gave me an idea - a VERY HOLY idea, I mean we the RE riders should celebrate holi. Don't know what else to do with them ;D. The weather is perfect, too.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to find out how the drive is made.

Knowing this probably saved me some work.  :)

Some measurements -

The shaft is 6.00 mm in diameter when measured above and below the groove; and only a hair-width larger at the tip 6.03 mm.

The SMALLER bore in the upper portion of the housing was 5.91 mm.

The LARGER bore size of the lower portion of the housing was 6.25 mm.

This confirms that there is no room for anything to go around the majority of the shaft.
