Yes, welcome back Bill. I have been following your KTM 390 Adventure videos, as last month I bought a new 2020 KTM 390 Duke. It is the first KTM I have ever owned. But it was kind of pricey at $6,800 USD, which included a $500 setup fee and $800 for shipping. That is the most I have ever paid for those fees for any motorcycle that I have ever bought before, including 8 new BMW motorcycle purchases.
I like the bike, but I do notice that the engine is bit weak below 4K rpm. However, what really irritates me is the poor throttle response at low throttle openings. It makes it tough to ride at slow speed around town. The engine kind of bounces back and forth and reminds me a bit of a old two-stroke engine running on a light load. Above 4K rpm and under a load, the engine runs very well and is quite smooth. I guess it is suffering from a lean emission condition. Perhaps a Booster Plug might be in its future after the initial servicing has been accomplished.
So far the only accessories that I have installed is a Puig dark windshield and KTM seat luggage.
