Maybe, but what's it like during fire season? We all have perfect times to ride and times that are a little more challenging. Here I'm still waiting for the snow to go (any day now) but then I'll have nine good months, some days better than others. Still, love to visit Queensland, especially right now!

Hi Biscot

Very safe from fires here. They were mainly down in the other states below us.  I would love to see the snow one day.  I would find it hard to be able to ride for 9 months though.

One of my friends daughter across the road is heading to Idaho in August to play college golf!

Hi All

I thought it was about time i took some photos where I live.

Its summer here and about 30c today.  Hervey Bay is about 4 hours north of Brisbane. Its known as the whale watching capital of the world.

You can ride all year round though i think winter is the best time to ride with temperatures around 23-25c.  Its a very temperate climate and doesnt get much hotter than 30c.

Cheers

You forgot to mention the stifling humidity for 6 weeks of the year and the fact it's the mobility scooter capital of the world. Plus you can't buy a decent latte and everyone's in bed by 7pm. Housings cheap though.

Ciao
