Thanks for finding these. This is exactly what I planned to do when I get mine.......though I might have a friend pick them up in India if he has room and if they are substantially less $. Either way, totally agree, the INT 650 decals are bogus.

I don't know where Honda gets off with their copyright of the Interceptor name.  Royal Enfield Interceptors were iconic "bikes to have" back in the late 60's.  There were those, Triumph, BSA, and Norton.  Of course there were also Harleys, but the big Harleys were considered "old fart" bikes and the Sportster was only 900cc but the twins mentioned would all out-handle them and out-perform them.  No jap bike had even showed up yet except wimpy little bikes.  The Interceptor name is iconic.  It actually pisses me off that Honda stole it ... well as far as I'm concerned they stole it and don't deserve it.

I'm with you.  I want the Interceptor logo on mine. I saw these decals a while back on Ebay. They disappeared for a while but are back up.

I also want to get the side covers painted orange to match the tank.

I am pimping out my Interceptor step by step.

I have a polished alloy front fender on the way.
https://accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/accessory-shop/accessory-shop-mudguards/41074

I have a set of chrome alloy wheels to run tubeless tires on the way.  They aren't exactly the style I would like but they are literally the ONLY alloy wheels for an Interceptor that are available.  I spent 6 months searching before I found Ryan Cost.  I am having them powder coated in Super Chrome because I think they look disgusting in black.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/drye7pgx9c0ypnn/RE%20TUBELESS%20WHEELS%20INFO.docx?dl=0
I know some of you (maybe most) will think they are butt-ugly and even I am partially in that camp.  But I refuse to constantly worry about having to crawl around in the dirt for two hours to change out a punctured tube just because RE is too stubborn to make tubeless wheels available.  I am not willing to wait for a year or two, maybe longer, maybe forever for RE to finally pull its head out of its butt and make decent wheels available.  If they EVER do, and if I like them more, I will switch then.

And about this time next year I plan to have the tank painted in candy apple red with a large air brushed "Royal Enfield" logo that will look like metal letters.  Pic below is idea of what the contrast will look like   May also have the side panels painted to match.  Here is a vid of the candy apple red. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQ9pIAHrmXQ

The lower metal stamping with the lock is transfered from the old cover. I bought a pair for my bike off e-bay like the look much better.

You can also buy the covers along with the lower metal portions on Ebay ... for close to $200.00
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Royal-Enfield-Interceptor-650-Side-Panel-With-Bracket/264548142919?hash=item3d984c4f47:g:KyIAAOSw7qRd3mDt
Being able to get just the covers with "Interceptor" on them saved me a big hunk of change.  I am going to have my tank repainted, and was also going to have the side covers repainted with "Interceptor" on them because I just cant stand "Int 650".  Now I don't have to have the side panels repainted.

For those who DO give a rip about Honda's trademarking (not "copyright") of the "Interceptor" name, here is a link to an entry for it in the USPTO's  Trademark Electronic Search System  (TESS): http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4803:i868v9.6.2

For more information on trademarks, see: https://www.uspto.gov/trademarks-getting-started/trademark-basics.

Remarkably, the "Interceptor" trademark is actually currently registered, or "live", for no fewer than 43 different products, including some device that presumably sorts poop from other sewage...So, wear those new sidepanels proudly!

So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.

Fully agreed. But to be honest: I would have changed the panels as well, no matter how sweet the U.S. stock panels smell :)

Good price btw., they are considerably more expensive here when you buy them from an RE dealership.

US copyright law is silly.  Some toy manufacturers have stopped making rounded toy tanks as if it looks too much like a Sherman then Ford will hit them up for royalty (even though the Sherman was designed with US Government funding nearly 80 years ago). Apparently Ford's rights extend to things that look like a Sherman tank, not just the tank design itself.

There was also a case recently where a guy making toys that had a vague loose resemblance to games Workshops Space Marines was ordered by a court to stop selling them.

Here they is!

I am putting three coats of ceramic coating on them (24 hours between coats) before putting them on the bike.  Same stuff I use on my tank & front fender.

Ah!...for some reason I thought you were in Arazona!  It will be interesting to see how hot or cool she runs!

I have one of those gauges on my Yamaha.  On a 90 F degree humid day, on a long ride....I do sometimes see temps over 100C (212F)....."they" tell me this is not a problem for an air cooled bike...but I don't like the oil that hot.  One hot day, got stuck in traffic...oil temp ran way up.....I finally got to the top of a long hill and shut 'er down....coasted down the long hill....stop and go, engine off....by the bottom she was nice and cool again....I switched using to full synthetic oil after that...
they" say synthetic can take way higher temperatures than standard....

My mechanic friends say get rid of that stupid gauge....it just makes me worry needlessly....better not to know!

I don't plan to use it for temperature much actually.  It has a "redline" on the guage and if it ever gets up there, or close to it, most likely I have sprung a leak somewhere.  I can see that easily with a quick glance from the saddle.  Without it I could catch a rock in the oil cooler or filter, or a line could spring a leak and I wouldn't know it until the engine seized up ... or I happened to catch the oil level low at a stop.  The oil level window isn't worth a shit for that, because it is pretty meaningless unless the bike is cold and on the center stand.

I am continually being ever-amazed by the reasonable prices, free shipping, and unbelievable customer service from the aftermarket outfits in India. The notion that my bike had to be called an "INT" because of Honda struck me as unacceptable, so I ordered a set of side panels the day I bought the bike. According to DHL they were still in India, but there they were on my doorstop. Take the hardware off the old ones, put it on the new ones, bada bing, bada boom. I'm quite sure the bike is happier about this turn of events, I know I am.

You do realise that now it's an Interceptor and not an 'Int' you have to ride on the left hand side of the road?

Even my status as a deranged, senile, stubborn, crotchety old-fart boomer won't let me get away with that.  Otherwise I would just to be obstinate.  But some redneck in a Peterbilt semi truck would make a nice peaceful angel of me in no time.
