Have been searching for some time for an alternative to the stock tail light for my '01 Bullet. At the annual swap meet in Denver a couple of weeks ago, I finally found it. It's a marker light off of a tractor trailer rig from who knows when. Chrome plated metal housing and a lens that I will never replace if it breaks as it is who knows how old. Makes the box (period correct) on the rear fender look much better. My opinion. Required drilling a couple of holes, purchasing a new lamp socket, sorting out a new gasket (experimented and for now it works, more to come probably), more time than it should of, all well spent. Reminds me of 30 years ago when we swapped ideas, tools, parts and time to keep each other on the road. Miss those days. Hope the picture comes through.

My wife's response to the whole working bit was, "That must really be a bad motorcycle. You're always working on it. Is there something wrong with it?"
I never bothered with the others particularly and the Nortless and other Brit bikes predated her.

That tail light looks clean, I like it. :)
I really wanted to go to the Denver Bike Show/Swap Meet this year but I ended up having to work all weekend that weekend.
As far as spending so much time in the garage? My wife don't even question it anymore. She just accepts the fact that I'd rather be in the garage than on the couch watching TV. Then again she doesn't know how much money I'm spending either. ;)
