Has anyone attempted to remove the air box on a 650 twin and replace with cone filters to the throttle body.  I see that Baak have developed a kit with some sheet metal forms and 2 x filters for the throttle body and 1 breather filter.  Evidently it does require a different battery which I assume is a more discrete piece.  ?

The intelligentsia would tell you it’s contrary to performance.
I’d rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy...

And they would be right.

Probably good for an engine that’ll be going flat out all the time. Pity, cos they’d look great.

Steve _ If you want "the look" ... get a 50mm pod, split it in half and decorate the OEM intake tube.  ;)

Brilliant idea, would go well with Ohlins stickers on OEM shocks.
