this  week end the queensland branch of royalenfield australia club  went on there monthly ride. one c5   three classic 500/s  two lean burns, and five assorted other bikes. our 320 k ride  took us thru rural queensland ,over mountain ranges    into  new south wales, then we had to cross the river on a barge  to arrive at the town of maclean witch is situated  right on the river  the hotel we stayed in had a log fire  and every one had a relaxing  time after the ride  .early the next morning  two of us rode back to brisbane.  we rode up along the coast  into the hills  overlooking the sea. as i was roaring up the highway on my bullet at 95 ks an hour  i had to think  life is so good, some times the simple things are the best.
