anyone here ever put a side stand on an iron Barrel? I have a 2002 classic and I've used the cener stand for 15 years but I think want to convert it to the side.

I'm not to enamored of the factory stands on my 1999's that attach to the front engine mount, 95% of the time I use the center stand. These retro stands look intriguing, I plan to try one. You'll lose the passenger pegs, but at 22 HP I don't carry anyone anyway.

PART No. 37188A ; PROP STAND ASSEMBLY ; £44.00
This is the original style prop stand as fitted to the 1950's Redditch and and early Indian Bullets. Whilst it is not as practical as the stands fitted to the later Bullets it gives a nice retro look.

A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

There is a side stand fitted to my bike, on the front engine mounting, you'll see it clearly if you zoom in. I may remove it as it is such a faff to use, it sort of dovetails together when in the down position, forget to put it up at your peril !!
It's metal, it doesn't understand!

not forgetting SWMBO's Z3 2002

My 2004 350 came with both stands. Both work well, although I put a 4”x4” fence post cap under the side stand when in the garage to make it stand more upright next to my other bike.

I have this Samrat  one

Works very well and is very stable

Stable enough for me to strip all the KS bits out while the bike was on this stand
