I tell ya what pis/es me off. when I add a video of interest and I have forum members go over and hit the dislike button for one reason only-if this is YOU and if it is just because good old bill has rode his merry way through 19 new bikes in 6 years and you as a miserable tight ass hater wish you could afford just one of his cast offs
mind you this is only directly if you are one of those cowardly button pushers. now if you have a comment come over say your bit and I will shut your trap very easy in word power alone.
while I am at it
NO! I am not getting the chrome.....actually I can' t afford it1
I bought the ravishing red variant instead.
and the chrome was $200 more.
by the way haters I have a rolex on order for $10,000 and im buying that too so stick that in your miserable asses too...LOL
when that arrives look for it next to the interceptor

well that got a bit heated and its another day and another view. actually I don't know why any-one gets jealous of what one has and one has not.
it has been through my personal observation alone on people with assets who have helped me most during my lifetime.
if I had not met them and took various changes in life i'd say the road would have been a more rocky one for sure.

forget it  ;D on that very same day I did a 5 hour job and took a quick $2000 and told the wife....then sat down and checked out my channel which was clean.
the next morning when I saw those 8 thumbs down on my you tube channel I went off!
so she told me - I should wake up to myself and get my priorities right and concentrate on my work and  stay away from that silly you tube channel completely ...LOL

Wow! You already pulled the video before I could even get a look at it, WildBill. And I was pretty stoked to watch your take on the twin! Should have just disabled the comments, or just the one in question. You can do that, right?

Also, are you SURE the Troll in question was someone from these Forums and not just some random nozzle? 'Cause I was under the impression that you cut a generally beloved figure with the kids here--like an eccentric rich uncle.

In the end, scathing or just plain weird YouTube comments are like what they used to say about medals in the Army: They're like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later every asshole gets 'em. It's a wasteland out there, baby. Just shake off the dust or tell 'em to "Lick my valve collets!", and keep on keepin' on.

YouTube is infested with trolls.

However to be honest all it takes to get a downvote is someone clicking on a link and getting something they did not expect. For example in this case expecting a full review of what is a currently unreleased bike with no actual user reviews yet.

Love the pie chart! But can't you add a large overlay called "morons". Not over the entire thing, perhaps just 75%. I think it is possible that up to 25% are not morons....... but I may be overestimating.

Is that black thing it's on the shipping crate frame or something?  I wonder what they do with those? Return them to India? Am I the only one who sees the makings of a great little service lift there?

Wildbill you're killing me here. I want a INT650 so bad but after my latest trip to the hospital, and all the stuff they decided I needed to spend my money on, I can"t pay attention with a co-signer.

I DO expect a full and detailed write up though, so get out there and ride it like you stole it!

Having bought two quads that arrived in a steel frame they easily convert to great medium duty benches ???? and the one my trike kit arrived in is sitting on the bottom of a concrete swimming pool supporting water plants after converting to a frog pond ????

I like the fact that the side panels say Interceptor As Honda has that name copyrighted here in the States so all the get is INT650 . If I do end up buying one I'll have to get someone in a far off country to send me new decals!

I'm no lawyer, but I do wonder how Honda might have any hope of successfully defending the trademark name "Interceptor" against a company like Royal Enfield, which was manufacturing an Interceptor model from 1960 to 1970, to say nothing of Mad Max's Jensen, an earlier model of which first saw the light of day in 1950.

thanks to all who liked the Ravishing Red..LOL

well if I had to be critical on the bike just on looking at photos etc I don't like the pattern on the seat. that might change when I actually see the bike. in real life it could actually look better.
back to the chrome model. well there might be a 6 week delay or more before that gets here in Australia. to me that's a bit of a gamble now and that would put me into the colder riding weather which I would not want to do and the bike would sit. so I thought it over and decided to take the opportunity and buy the first bike in stock
just say I think this bike is alright and it may be I don't know ...other have said so but they are test riders and test riders like to go back to bike shops and test bikes. after-all if they say all bikes they test were shit...well they wouldn't test or not do too many more...lol
my test won't be hard just a visual and a comparison ride against a c5 where roughly $800 splits them.
back again to the chrome. say I really do like this bike. well to be honest there is probably a good chance i will ride it for a short time and move it on and go for the chrome model and I guess some-one will get a used but not abused Interceptor.
then again I might say -shit this is a nice looking bike....honestly I just don't know but I will soon!

Well, like many others here, I'm curious to hear your take on it. I've never ridden one of these newfangled 270 degree parallel twins--only the old 360s like Nortons and the old Triumphs and various '70s Honda CBs of 350ccs or smaller. Will they satisfy with loping oompf, or just be too smooth?

It is the counterbalance shaft that takes all the life out of it.
Just the 270 crank alone would feel like a v-twin. Perfectly fine for a crank.

Something similar might explain my baffling lack of longings for one of those new Triumph Bonnies or their other Retro offerings, 'cause I've always adored Triumphs since I was a kid. On the one hand the newish ones come very close indeed to pushing all my buttons visually, but they just seem to lack that old galloping "grunt" when I see one flit by.  I like 'em and all, but they don't exactly keep me up at night plotting to get my mitts on one. I'd assumed it was just emissions gear or better metallurgy or something else twisting and muffling their balls, but the new ones really are  an elementally different breed than the old ones, Huh? Well, at least I still got my old '67 Norton next up for resurrection after the Zuendapp Bella gets some love...
