It,s not a UCE for 2008.

Hard to tell what you have, without a picture.  You MAY have an AVL(Lean-Burn) engine. You could also have one of the last Iron Barrels.

If the price is right, ....buy it.

That's an AVL engine, the UCE started in '09.
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

Make him an offer. The ad has been around for awhile. Wonder how he registered it in CA? It can be done but it is not easy.

 Not a whole lot more.
Valves will need adjustment on occasion and sprag failure will be possible.

The price is wrong for here in WA. but  in CA. it could be a different story.

I have the same engine. Not too much of a maintenance workout.
His price is high,  close to new retail. . I'm also concerned with all that bluing on the exhaust......why?

Its all about price, get that right, and you could have a nice Military.

thanks for the inputs. i sent him an email and have not heard back i think it is not registered in cal...but if he gets his price closer to 3200...the kbb price, it would be worth the drive.

Money talks and B.S. walks my dad would say.

More than one occasion cash on the barrel head has swayed the "firm" price.
You never know until you try.

The bluing looks to me like the bike may still be jetted stock which is a tad on the lean side to begin with.
