I want to thank everyone for the good responses. I spent some time with the idle mixture and not only got the bike to idle better, my head measures 265 degrees F after a twenty mile ride through town. Amazing how often the simplest fix is what it takes!

Nice going. 265 is a very comfortable temperature for an air cooled engine head.
