The beans appear to be unevenly roasted, or more likely, they are a pre-mixed blend of different varieties.  I've been roasting coffee beans for 6 years or so.

Or maybe that's a black beetle crawling around the beans!   :D

Where you been? Riding much? Going to the Int'l bike show with me this month in Greenville? Get your computer fixed?  Been back to the Guzzi dealer? Find a job?
