Hi everyone.

Can anyone comment on the whether the Rubber Tipped Primary Chain Tensioner Bolts actually quitens primary noise.  I have the standard setup and am not sure whether noise I hear is from the primary or the gearbox. The noise is not excessive by any means however if the Rubber Tipped bolt makes a noticable difference I may consider installing one.

Roger.

Can't say I noticed a huge 'sudden silence' when I fitted mine. I did though have to grind down the lock nut a bit thinner as that rubber head section makes the bolt a bit longer and as my primary chain hasn't yet stretched at all it was a tight fit otherwise!!!!
Think it is cheap enough to do this job if you have to cover off anyway as I did  ;)
If it ain't broke-------------------------- fix it 'till it is!
