Hello there all!

So you might recall I stated last November-ish that I was going to sell my RE in favor of other projects.

However, just a week or 2 ago, my 7 year old daughter announced that she didn't want me to sell my bike (actually insisted I pull the add from craigslist), and that she wanted to get a helmet so she could ride with me.

This was also the afternoon she helped me pull the rear wheel again and fix the issues I was having there, and helped me rewire the rear turn signals in without panniers (taken off for a while so my dad can paint them). And help me scrub it from top to bottom.

How can you say no to that?

So back on the getting it titled and legal thing. Then planning a trip with my daughter.

Love her so much.

Peace all. Be safe.

Brother Milk,

You have lost a motorcycle and gained a riding buddy.

Take good care of her heirloom until she's old enough to get her license.

Funny how these things work innit?

Take that girl for a ride, she'll remember it forever and tell her kids about it. :D
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

Yup. Absolutely. To all of you.

Get this. She wants to earn her own helmet. Out of chore money and such. I told her we would match her dollar for dollar.

What a girl.

And all the getting dirty work was done while her brothers were playing around on their razor scooters and such. IE, she ditched actual play to get dirty with dad. Very very cool.

Be safe friends.

singhg5....haven't been gone. I still lurk everyday. I'm just a little quiet online, ya know?

also, most of my energy has been going into prepping for my spring ride. 125cc scooters (my friend also picked one up) riding from Mesa AZ to Banff springs natl park.

Should be fun. :)

What a great post! You clearly know the importance of family.

It took me 25 years to get to know my son. Business travel left my wife as a virtual single parent, then Son moved away.

Then he moved back and we started going to the clubs roadrace events. Last year I put him on my spare bike and we put about 3K miles on doing a National park trip. I am finally getting to know him.

II'd give anything to have those missing years back.
