Hey Folks,
I have a new Bullet G5 Deluxe that's leaking oil from the airbox. It's a safety issue, as the oil is winding up on my rear tire ! I've traced the leak to a drain hole and hose nipple at the lowest point of the airbox. My question is : isn't there supposed to be another hose routed somwhere from that nipple ?? The crankcase is NOT over-filled. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
                                                                     P. Schraub

I believe she might have been over filled, it's easy to do with these bikes.
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

It's over filled. Cold, the oil should be barely visible in the window, Even up to low mark will blow oil. Trust me, I went through this with my G-5 . I find 1500-1700ccs with a filter change. If you're dripping oil, your air filter is shot also.

Measure the oil when you drain and replace with same (amount).
A Royal Enfield owner's cup is always half full.

These guys are all right - if there is oil in the airbox - it's overfilled ..........
Spare the pig iron - spoil the part!

Hey Guys,
You all are correct........I screwed up and over-filled ! Thanks for your input and help. I still want to know why there's a hose nipple at the lowest point of the airbox. Could this be for a chain oiler in case of overfill? Or, is it just a drain hole ?
