Just took a spin on my new Bullet G5 Deluxe.  I love it!!!  Faster than my G5 Classic plus a lot more chrome  ;D ;D  I like shiny things LOL.  My classic looked pissed when I got home on the new deluxe, but I think she will get over it.

Congrats on 2 (!) G5's.  What will you do with two of them?

How can it be faster?  It's not the shiny chrome, is it?   ;D

Perhaps it just seems faster.lol.  I think the shiny chrome must provide some kind of turbo power.  I'm keeping em both.  ;D ;D ;D  I have two boys almost old enough to get their license.

Congrats robbw !

My prediction is that in time your position will change from  " owning two Bullets" to  custodian of two heirlooms"  ;) ;D

BTW; some say red is the fastest color others say black and some insist its British racing green,,,,,,I say chrome has the least wind resistance  ;D

No doubt about it, chrome has the edge for looks and performance. If you want to be really impressed, ditch the torpedo tube and fit the Goldie exhaust   :o

Chrome is lighter than paint,a proven fact.Congratulations on your new purchase. How will you decide which one to ride at any given time?

Well, I have decided to put the Classic to bed for the winter and stick with the Deluxe.  Not that I don't love the Classic, she's been a good ride, but I'm in love with the Deluxe. The oil is changed, everything is lubed, washed, waxed, and has fuel stabilizer. Now I just need to put the battery away, cover the bike and lock her up in the garage.  Or maybe I should put her in the storage shed so I don't have to look at her every time I go in the garage, lol.  I would feel less guilt this way.  At any rate, both bikes are great, but I'm having a lot of fun on the Deluxe.  It's a great ride and often a conversation piece. Not many enfields here in WA state so many people stop and ask about the bike. Women included, lol.  ;D ;D

I've got 5 ft of hard packed dense slowplow thrown concrete in front of my workshop doors. My RE is entombed >:(
