One was already apart, and I just finished tearing the other one down.
Made a pile in my driveway  so I could take a "before" photo.

I have until May of 2012 to finish them in time for the Oregon Vintage Motorcyclists May Show.
I was mistaken, I thought RE was to be featured for 2011, turns out it's Moto-Guzzi, so I now have time to do it properly.

Pizza cake, man ..... with THAT nice pile of parts, you ought to be riding one or the other in say - a weekend?  ::) (Looks like REALLY nice starter stuff, tho .... I can't seem to drag anything home that doesn't look like it's been UNDER the Titanic ...... )
Spare the pig iron - spoil the part!

If you're at work, the network admins could be blocking photobucket.

Scooterbob, one of those was a runner up til a few weeks ago. I parked it to sort out a plug fouling problem in  the right hand cylinder. The carb wasn't metering fuel, it was dumping it.
Got to looking at how dirty the thing had gotten after 20 years since I put it together.
The other one's been apart for 20 years after it sacrificed it's recently rebuilt engine to get the more classy Indian on the road.
It's about time to get both of these cleaned up and put back together with their original engines.

Atta boy, Carlo!! You will, of course, send us some pictures when you're done so I can cry and wail that ANOTHER cool bike has come back to life whilst mine languish .....  :-[ I'm just so thrilled that there are SO many OLD bike nutcases on this "bored" .... I just love seeing old ones turned back into new ones! I love doing it, too as time permits. I'd love nothing more than to be a "bike hermit" - rebuilding the old steeds all day long with an eye to detail and a smile on my face. Sadly - I've found not enough people to PAY me to do that these days .... Hahaha!  ;)

I've been committed.

Well, my wife thinks I should be...

But I made the commitment of starting a blog.

I've also made a decision based on my lack of; 1. Money, 2. Space on my workbench.

I'm going to be selling off most of the non-Enfield related junk in my collection to help finance this project.

I'll be posting a list on my blog. All of the bikes can be considered to be projects, some, fairly desireable models.  Prices will reflect my need for fast cash.
