I am believing that The Clamp got booted into the ether by CMWRhett, who is not nearly as interested in lively discussion as I am. He WAS gently reprimanded twice by yours truly to not be offensive to those throughout the world who read this forum .... He just insisted in stepping over the line with his prose. Again - I lively debate is ALL in order - that's how we learn about ourselves and each other - but depreciating comments about race and religious preference can't be tolerated here.
Spare the pig iron - spoil the part!

He had a one track mind - and way too many times he wrote provocative comments on people from different countries, race and religous beliefs, which were totally unnecessary and unproductive to the Topic of the thread.

If he is gone, I personally do not miss an iota - but consider it a welcome relief !

I appreciated Clamps engaging attitude - I agreed with some of his philosophy. He was, sadly, prone to baiting others for a reaction. It is one thing to discuss with vigor and gusto - quite another to attack a fellow participant in that discussion. I encourage rounding discussion here - I'll miss old Clamper for that - but I'm guessing there are a few here who will not miss him at all ...... a lesson in civility learned, perhaps?

ol cLumsTer,,  floating arouund in his boat ,,living his life.. I wish him well..  he was a tad terse at times..  and somewhat uncouth..  perhaps he should just be made to stand in a corner with his nose in a circle for a while..

I don't think it is PC at play here.  I think ol' Clamp crossed the "line" too many times and pissed off too many people.  CMW owns the board and has every right to act as they did, assuming Clamp got booted.

Civility - a grand goal worth going after.
