What is everyone doing this New Year's Eve?  I'm taking the girlfriend out after I get home from work.

I might go to a hockey game. I might stay home.

Usually visit with friends and enjoy a good meal . And go bed by 10pm

Don't forget to eat your black eyed peas and collard greens,  skip the Waldorf salad on New Years day.

No plans, I'll sleep right through it.
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

6-pack of Steelhead strong stout, rollicking on the floor with my 1-year-old son, and endlessly inflating woopie cushions for his 3-year-old cousins. Hell of a party here in Boston.

30 minutes left of 2010 here in Eugene, OR.  I'm with my grad-school son for the weekend as he prepares for the new quarter of classes.

Happy 2011!

+16* F, no humidity, winds dead calm, sky's clear, not a cloud in sight, stars twinkle in perfect clarity. I am dressed for the weather.

Lawns are heavily frosted. Roads are clear and dry, I have them all to myself.
Taking it easy, cold tires and all.

Snick into first and ride.

Ease into the driveway, shut down. Heat from the engine dissipates quickly.

Life is good.

Uncle Ernie invited me over to celebrate new years. But the address he gave me was an empty lot in the projects, and when I called him, no one answered. I must have copied them down wrong, so I missed out celebrating the new year with my good buddy. ???
