Hello, I am and American rider on contract in India, so I picked up a brand new 2010 Classic 500, I am just used to riding long stretched cruisers back home, and in an attempt to modify the Classic, I am searching for 16 inch ape's, and cables and wires already cut to fit. Could someone please shoot some advice about were to locate these my way. Much appreciated!
Brady

You don't see many (if any) apes on a Bullet.
The handlebars are available from many different sources and you'll have to make your own cables.

the bars are readily available, but the cables would have to be made custom

Why not take this opportunity to actually ride instead of lounging on a cruiser? You may appreciate the control and handling. And  may enjoy it.

Ape hangers on a bullet, That's like a frog on a birthday cake ain't it?
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

Well - in MY mind it is .... but I ain't beatin' up on a fellow for his choice ..... I just can't get MY head around it ...... I may have to put a set on a G5 and go for a spin .... there is an old crusty handlebar here that has about a 20" rise ......  ;D

The "cruiser" style riding position is often quite comfortable.

I think the trick will be implementing it into a Bullet while maintaining proportions and lines that are aesthetically pleasing .

Looks Pre School if ya ask me.  Ape hangers on a bullet makes a cruiser, like me standing in the garage makes me a car. Why make a dangerous sport even more dangerous? On the plus side, it looks ridiculous.
