  • Finally... something exciting between my legs.
on: November 16, 2010, 03:32:53 am
I went from being the only rider in town that I knew of to being 1 in 7?  4 G5s and a 2003 bullet have showed up to the shop in the last WEEK!  :o  It's a small town and I get stopped by someone daily so I would like to be conceited and blame my rolling advertisement.  8)  In fact I think Royal Enfield should pay me some royalties.  :D

At first I was super excited to see them all but now a little sad to see I'm not 'special' anymore.  :P

btw hi everyone, I haven't been around much have I? stupid work, school, life.  :-[  The Enfield is doing quite badly actually, I'm going to tear it down this week to fix a list of issues that all seemed to appear at once.

@Bug_Catcher:

Good to hear from you after quite a while.  You have 4 G5 in your town ?  That says a lot about your power of persuation  :D.  I have not see a single G5 in my state of NJ - only know of a couple of guys who own REs in NJ - a C5 (not seen yet) and Chumma's Fireball (saw that beautiful beast).

Instead of tearing your pony, how about you getting a new G5 making it the 5G5s in your town ?  You can spend more time riding  ;).

By the way, you are still SPECIAL !

If we are going to talk code, please lay out the rules first.

Tearing your pony????     is that like bashing your Bishop?

I feel the same way.  Happy they are doing well... but damn it, the selfish side enjoys being the odd ball.

Bug,
In these days when a new Harley Davidson costs more than most new cars,  The Royal Enfield Offers riders an inexpensive, and moderately uncomplicated machine on which to indulge one's desire to own, ride, and maintain a motorcycle. True, the older Royal Enfields (such as my old "Iron Head" can be a might 'quirky' but once sorted out prove to be quite economical, enjoyable, and dependable machines.

Bug - You are probably better for Enfield than the Norton Girls were for Norton in the '70's! Hahaha! Good to hear from you again!

No code, just septic speak!

G5 has new UCE motor in Electra frame, BTW = by the way, NJ = New Jersey, RE = obviously your kidding, Chumma's Fireball = Chumma/Ace's complete performance engine kit (Fireball kit).

Clamp, you are quite the code writer yourself. But I think sometimes it is better not to break your code to reveal the true point your trying make.

This sort of thing happens quite a bit, when buying vehicles. As soon as you buy one it seems that's all you ever see. RBHOGE,- Harley big twins have allways costed more than a mid level car. Right from day one.

You might be right about that too.  Three of the G5s in the shop had less than 500 miles on them, I know there is a new-ish dealer in Santa Fe but that's the closest shop.  One guy came in when I wasn't there and just started wandering around the parts shop and finally asked if some girl on an Enfeld worked there.  He needs to stop trying to be cool like me.  8)   One is a super dork which makes me sad.  He rode in sporting some man sandals and socks in khaki shorts.   :-[  He'll make people not want to ride Enfields.

I'm ugly, so that's probably why I'm still the only one in town with an RE.  People might think it's catching.

Brits like Clamp refer to Yanks as septics because septic is rhyming slang for American.

Septic is short for septic tank, which rhymes with yank....
