When installing new rubber covers for the rider's footpegs, do you need to use some kind of adhesive or do you just force them on?

Thanks,
Scott

I would suggest spraying some hairspray into the rubber then push it on, adjust and let sit till set.

I get good results by applying a light coat of hairspray to both the peg and inside of the rubber.  Wait for to JUST start getting tacky and then slide it on.  It cuts the cure time considerably.  This is also my preferred method for installing new hand grips.

I've been using brake cleaner for hand grips lately.  Seems to cure faster than hair spray, but you've got to be careful around the paint.

Thanks,
Scott
