Loose wire on that damn connector not a new or unherad of fault. See my thread from Dec '07.

Hey alwscout, I'm just curious: what did you do with the fuel you drained out?  I think my girlfriend's xs500 has water in the tank and I'm going to have to do the same thing.

what we used to do was filter the fuel water mix through a tee shirt , the gas would go through the shirt  and the water would stay  in the shirt .( I used to run anything cheap through that old Vespa)  ride safe have fun Dewight ::) ::) ::)
