I can stretch the negative over the battery and it will reach, barely, with no stress.

what happened is I bought the sealed battery from the online store.. aNd  the poles have been reversed  ???

Thought about just switching the positive to the negative and versa visa.. but that would be too easy :P

I haven't seen one of those sealed batteries yet, so this is just a question out of ignorance.  Can you just turn the thing around to get it right with the cables?

 :D maNy tImes.that way. ;D

decided not to cut the cable yet.. gonna eyeball this if the temp in the garage gets better than 20.

the old battery from the factory had  this set up      [ NEG. ------------- POS. ]

the new sealed battery has this set up     [ POS. -------------- NEG.]
If I can believe in the + and - stamped in the top

so now you see why my postive is too long

and reversing the cables won't work without work :-\

and turning  the battery around would result in the cables being in back..  :o

I don't know, maybe it's an Electra thing ;D

More likely an 'actually-the-wrong-battery-but right-size-to-fit-in-the-space' thing!!!  :D
