Detroit Mi. to Rolla Mo. and back all on county roads and small state highways.
1,633 miles in basically 3 days of riding on my 9 year old 99.

1,301 miles in 2.5 days on the G5. Same trip with a mishap on the way home.

My odometer started flipping over the hundred mile mark instead of the 1/10th mile mark number, so on one trip to work I logged over 700 miles.  All on one tank of gas!

On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

Just a couple of weekends ago I went to Ruidoso, New Mexico via Carrizozo.  It was about 170 miles, half highway, half slower mountain roads.  Took my little Enfield about 4 and a half hours, but I made it!   ;D  When I finally got to the Harley infested rally (it was awful, I don't recommend it.  Drive around the mountains instead!) I was pretty proud of myself.  8)  Especially considering I saw at least two dozen big cruiser bikes being TOWED up there.  Wussies....

The vibration and flipped handlebars just about killed me though.  You people going 400-600 miles in one day are all crazy.  :P but I already knew that.

350 miles in one day, with wife and lots of luggage.  This was part of a 2300m 10 day trek.
Never felt backside pain like that before.  Think the seat was done for short trips.

It's kinda like a vision quest. 600 miles in 1 day on an Enfield is like sitting on top of a mountain eating cactus tops and dancing until you pass into another world.
Nothing else like it.

What is the longest trip/tour that you have taken on your Royal Enfield? :)

I did the Iron Butt "National Parks Tour" on my 2001 4-speed. Longest day was about 400 miles, and the longest stretch was a big loop from St. Louis to Vegas via Rt 66 and back ziz-zagging through southern Utah and Colorado, Kansas. about 4,000 miles over 12-13 days or something.
For the entire IBA ride I lost track of the total miles for the year, but in going back and re-mapping my routes recently I think I easily did 15,000+ miles in that year. 27 states and 120-130ish National Park units visited. 3 crashes, 2 busted welds, 4 or 5 fender stays busted and countless nuts lost, wore out 3 chains and a top-end.

Now, with my new '07 iron head Military I haven't put it through such abuse yet, but I did do a ride from St. Louis to Columbus Ohio via Cincinatti in one very long day of backroad riding. About 450 miles. That ride convinced me to never do another long distance ride until I had fitted 1) a springer seat and 2) a windshield.

Even my small windshield makes a big difference, you will really notice the difference when you do a 400+ mile day.
I do think seat time improves your butt tolerance,  On my recent 1600 mile jaunt from Kansas-Arkansas-Missouri (Rally on the River)-Kansas, my butt didn't protest much on the last 410 mile leg back home.  After five days of riding I guess I was getting toughened up.
FWIW I ride 50-60mph, stopping about every 100 miles for gas and a break.  That usually works out to a 40mph average at the end of the day.

291 mile day ride from Brooklyn, NY to Hartford, CT, via the farm roads of Long Island, the country roads of CT, and the Cross Sound Ferry. Highly recommended to anyone who might be in that area.

The sprung solo saddle is what makes that distance possible for me.

yep. my stock bench was great for the first couple thousand miles, but once the foam was crushed in it was like sitting on a solid mounted plate. It got to where it seemed Every. Single. Stroke. of the piston was telegraphed up my spine and into my skull and reverberated in my helmet. I thought it would going to drive me insane.

The sprung saddle however provides me with the double-isolation I need to keep my fat butt out of the vibrations of the bike.

I am thinking of getting the Enfield for 200 mile or less excursions. and trying to find a used but not abused BMW for cross country trips.
