I shipped this basket case over here to South Africa this summer, its going together well, been a lot of fun figuring it all out so far

 It turned out well thanks,here are some shots of it.,The  6.5 with the double reduction has plenty of power to keep the wheels spinning and it can go faster than you want to go on our track, really makes you appreciate suspension. We leave the tires aired down to as low as we can get away with which helps. As soon as we get some rain I want to work on the track with a grader.....

Single I cut my teath on an old Morgan and then a TR3, but owning a Landrover Discovery made me swear(a lot) off Brit built vehicles, though I do work on some older Landy's that I really like, doing some work on an old forward control right now....

Here's my own ironhead project. Looked pretty together off the truck (as in photo), but Now that it's in the shed I'm discovering all the curious decisions the PO made. Namely wiring.

Keep us posted on your project. I've seen it over on the XL Forum pages, right?
