My DVR is set to record the (first?) three episodes.

I don't have Discovery HD :-\ but I do have Discovery.  Sometimes one will follow the other.  Discovery Communications Int.l (DCI) owns several networks, including Discovery Channel, Military Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Discovery Health so maybe it will appear on another channel as well in a month or so.

Any other Enfields in New England?

Well, what did you think? Seems like Billy Joel is a big RE fan. Did you see them all in the backround? It also showed a good example of how the guys over here find the old Japanese bike's we use to make Cafe' Bikes, sorry Will, Caff's :D
And how about that Elec. Cafe'.Low bar's, no loud pipes? Wave of the future I guess? Not sure I like it though.I hope they keep sucking that oil and gas out of the ground for a while.Keep us on or traditional bikes, and me in this service Van ::).

Here's my take on the show, Br. Gorilla:

Cafe Racer, there's nothing like it on TV!
Long live the Bullets and those who ride them!

The first episode I finally got around to watching yesterday.  They did a good job of getting many of the old clips into decent HD images.

Funny that one of the first bikes shown is a new Moto Guzzi V7 Classic when Guzzi has since released the V7 Cafe version.

Gotta love the rockabilly music going on in the episode!

Yea prof, love that new Guzzi. You gotta get some Old Link Wray and Wanda Jackson Records, their a couple of the best, I think. Look for a song called " Ain't that Love'in you Baby" by Link Wray. Probably the best R&R song ever made. Raw and simple.

Link made some cool tunes.  He had a disease or some problems with his lungs and his doctor told him he couldn't sing professionally.  He made up for it with a mean guitar.

Yea Scott, I think I read somewhere, that he only had one Lung. You can tell by the way he sings that song I mentioned above. One of the few he sang. A really great and under rated guitarest.

I think the mods got the better of the Rockers, but i love the Cafe's anyway. As a long time subscriber to english type youth cultures good to see we have all come around. K. mahoney is right.
Can't wait to see the show....cafe's are already gettin huge here in cali. also. any new RE owners in the bay area? i'm a week in now and LOVIN' IT!
Cheers

Link Wray has showed up on my Pandora "Rockabilly" AND "The Ventures" channels.  Really nice stuff.  I don't think his music will show up on my Basshunter channel, though.   :o

Back to the series, I watched #2 yesterday and just love how Billy Joel has BOTH Royal Enfields and (mostly) small-block Moto Guzzis.  Great minds think alike, but he has more money to back up that passion.   :)

Yea right, I guess Christie didn't get it all. :P  Us poor folk have to build our own, then sell, to fund our habit.
