Oh yeah, very nice!
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

Ya know, I gotta say, that looks quite good on the Military. Fitting some how? Could it be done in Brown?

Aside: is that to seal the fairly seive like air box enclosure?  I found silt in the bottom of mine on the return from SF.  That black plastic strip and hinge don't really inspire confidence in the seal.  Of course I've got teal so I need a prettier solution than hockey tape :P

You weren't supposed to ask!!!   ;)

The pressure inside the airbox was too much for the mild steel locking lug.  PLINK, she's gone, and my airbox flops open, just as I'm pulling into a sporting goods store.  The locking lug sheered right off.

I'm not going to fix it.  Not until I re-design and re-do the whole airbox unit anyway.  I was getting all kinds of grit inside through that horrible plastic seal.  At least the tape, ugly as it is, will keep the dirt out.

I blew mine off to Andy, Three self tappers at the the corners, screw heads dabbed in touch up paint, good to go. I here you though, that pot metal tab is week. I have seen few bikes without grit in the air box. I think that box is just there to slow down the air for the sensor, otherwise  we could just run pods. The filter should block all that crap in there.

Scotty, I think alot of that grit is from Whats being kicked up from the chain. Look where the air intake is at the rear of the box. I think a little sheet metal extention on the chain guard would take care of it. Or just clean the box more often.
