I used to own a Royal Enfield while I was in college in India and I now have the itch for one again.  I've am looking to purchase a used on this coming season for a decent price.  I would like to know if I can find a website where they might have used Enfields for sale.  Thanks in advance.

Well, I learned to ride in the manic streets of India and I've been riding Ducati's for some time here in the US.  Although, it has been about 3 years since I have ridden.

Ebay and Craigslist come to mind.  You might also post your needs on the Yahoo Groups "royalenfield" and "Bullet-Mania".  You could also check with any Royal Enfield dealers in your area.
Good Luck,
Leonard

The dealer in Williamsport, PA has this used Bullet.  It's a bit of a ride from NYC, but with the end of the iron engine production looming, it may become hard to find used RE's.

Howdy.

I don't know if you've researched new prices, but they are pretty attractive too.  In the US, you can get the AVL Electra 500 with all the modern stuff on it, if that's what you're looking for in Manhattan.  Particularly, I love the front hydrolic disc brake for stop and go in the city.

BTW, I drive in Delhi.  Was just in Manhattan 2 weeks ago.  I'd take Manhattan anyday!

I too would sooner ride a motorcycle in Manhattan, rather than Delhi.. But I would rather be in Delhi, than Manhattan.

Ditto on the Craigslist. I got a great deal on a '06 500ES Military from a bloke what needed to make room in his stable for a classic cafe racer.
