Where is the best place to do it? RE doesn't want it on this forum...for obvious reasons I suppose. I was thinking about starting my own forum for a Buy/Sell section. any interest there?

Ya its a bit like a bike without wheels. :) I can understand RE's reasons though, they do have a store connected to the forum.

The CMW's policy is to not have a private "for sale" section.

The thought is, it will hurt RE dealers who are tyring to stock and sell new parts and motorcycles.

I personally would like to know if there is a State side RE dealer that has a significant amount of stocked parts. To my knowledge none yet exist, besides CMW.But that is beside the point.

I don't agree with the said policy, but since  I don't pay for the use of this for proffit RE forum, I really don't have much say in the matter.

CMW, Hitchcock's, and a few of the India based RE EBay stores are a good source for parts.

We need a "RE-Bay."   ;D

I haven't checked (or joined) the RE owner's club site, but they must have some sort of buy & sell, no?

A discreet mention on the forum that you are about to place certain items on ebay might not offend our hosts - now and again....?
Might get you a few interested pm's...... ;)

Also, I think the UK RE site has buy & sell  -  but they do tend to be afeared of anything new enough to have electrickery starters - and as for fuel injection  -  they reckon it's witchcraft!  Many believe it's actually illegal!
Have a look.....mind you don't wake em up...... ;)

Can't register without a vallid cell  phone number? Screw that.
Actually once you get to that point (which is actually just post-registration SPAM), you can close the window - you're already registered after you hit submit. There is also pass link on the right side.. never enter personal info into a website! :)

Once you get past that point, there doesnt seem to be any spam.

I put up a few bits for sale.  Electra and AVL manuals and a vintage-style solo seat.  Hope they sell!  I still need to pay for those new handlebars!   ;)
