Looks like some sort of dealer has a G5 on ebay.Under 600 miles, adult owned. They claim it has the balance of the 2 yr warranty. I thought the warranty was not transferrable?

A dealer has 3 C5's on ebay and claims they have to be accepted with a 1 year warranty. What's that all about?

What it's all about is a dealer not knowing what's UP. The warranty on the UCE bikes is two years, unlimited mileage. It excepts wear parts such as tires, tubes, cables, chains, sprockets, bulbs, etc - and it is NOT TRANSFERABLE. I suspect that someone is going to be GROSSLY disappointed ........  :(
Spare the pig iron - spoil the part!

Well. the dealer can warranty anything he wants.  The difference is whether or not the factory will back the dealer.  The dealer can give a 10 year warranty if he wants to.

My Dealer has a brand new G5 with a side car settin' on the floor.  Add a side car, loose the warranty.  However he is on the hook for any warranty that is extended. I am pretty confident he would extend the full two years and take the burden of risk himself. He certainly would have  a tough time selling a brand new bike with no warranty.
Any other Enfields in New England?

While I agree a dealer can assume warranty liability BEYOND the factory warranty, in this case he was taking the factory warranty and arbitrarily cutting it in half. Can't do that.

Sent a message on ebay to the dealer stating one year warranty. He replied back that it is a 2 year warranty and asked if I was looking to buy one soon. :D

You are correct, sorry not to be clear, my comment was regarding the first paragaph in the OP about extending the warranty to a second owner...
