If that's all it takes to cause problems, I'd take the divorce and keep the bike. :D

I was looking at a bike on craigslist last night (BMW K1200LT) for $16k. Showed it to the wife and without hesitation she said "your birthday's coming up, we can't use our savings for it, but let's look into a loan"  :)

Same wife that told me to buy the RE 2 years ago.

I'm keeping her  ;D

I told my wife I was getting a bike. Didn't ask mind you, but used a calm, matter-of-fact tone. She fussed and whined and I said nothing. One day she came home from work and went into the garage and saw the bike. She fused and whined and I said, in a calm matter-of-fact tone "I told you I was getting a bike." Still have the bike and the wife.

I am a devout family man and almost always sacrifice selfish desires to do the responsible thing. Every now and then I decide to do something or get something and just do it. I let the wife do what she pleases, I don't own her. Won't be owned either.
