I'm just curious. Does anyone have an idea of how many UCE-based bullets have been sold in the states?

Kevin?

24,963 units sold in the first half of 2010 ,for a 1.7% increase over last year,at the same time, of 24,551.  About 5% are exports. They want to sell 60,000  total this year, over the 43,000 last year. this is according to ONEIndia and Reuters.

Those are overall numbers, not the ones sold in the states. Only 5% of the overall are exported from India. At least that's what the articles said.

5% to the states would equal about 1200 bikes
2-57 Apaches, 2-57 Trailblazers, 60 Chief, 65 Interceptor, 2004 Bullet, 612 Bullet chopped.

The 5% is divided between USA, UK, Australia, Korea, etc.
Just as a comparison,  numbers I have heard from other forums is Ural sells under 900 a year in the US. Moto Guzzi sells about 300.

Ah, ok I didn't read carefully.. So 1200 exports.. so definitely in the hundreds for the States. Funny, I've seen 3 (sans dealer's bikes) in my area - above average I'd say!

But you have a local dealer.  I imagine that tends to raise the local Bullet population ;)
