I wanted to let you all know I was able to talk to Cabo for a few minutes today. He asked me to post this update for him......

As you know he had his last round of chemo on July 26th. On August 12th he will go in for a scan so they will know how to proceed.

He is tired from the effects of the treatment but is continuing to fight!

He sends his thanks for all the prayers and good wishes coming his way and sends back his gratitude and love!

Keep them coming!!!!!!

I'll second that. I didn't know that Cabo was sick. He was the very first member to welcome me here back in March, and shortly after, he sent me a full on WOWZAA, BABY!!!  after my first ride on my new bike.
God bless you Cabo  -  love and warm wishes for getting well soon, coming straight back at you.

Brs. BigDon, Tom, Dave, Slider, Danny, Will, Rick, Poz, single, Phil, Kruiser, woodboats, Scoot, Sing, WillW, Spitting Bull, ERC, and scoTTy, I thank you very much for your positive thoughts (and prayers for those of you who have prayed for us)!  Believe you me, brothers, that all those positive vibes help through the healing process, which is coming along nicely and slowly.  All of your posts are very humbling and touching!  So much so, that, even a WOWZAA, BABY falls short of expressing how I feel about you guys!

P.S.  Br. scoTTy, I enjoyed the tune!
Long live the Bullets and those who ride them!

Keep the shiny side up, the boots on the pegs and best REgards,

Br. Sing, my recovery is slow -- the May, June and July treatments of full-dose chemo therapy kicked my butt to hell and back and so has the recovery process!  While speaking of torture at the Hanoi Hilton, a then presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain said: "Everybody breaks; it's just a matter of when."  I now know what he meant.

I had my PET Scan done yesterday.  I meet with my oncologist on Monday at 9:30 AM to go over the results of the scan.  The objective is to confirm that all the cucarachas that were running around in my right upper lobe and three top lymph nodes are deader than a door nail.  Lastly, I am always grateful for your positive thoughts and prayers, Br. Sing!

Cabo, I haven't been on here for a long time (you know, I had to start spending more time with other things besides the computer) and I just saw this thread.  I will definitely be praying for you and will bring you up in church tomorrow.  Lots of riders in my church, by the way.   You are one of the most positive influences on this web site and I know everybody here is pulling for you.  You just stay positive and trust God.  I really do wish you a speedy recovery!
